SONY AND PIONEER SET TO LAUNCH BLU-RAY PLAYERS

Sony will be launching the long awaited BDP-S1 blu-ray player in July. However pre-shipment order of the player is already available at
amazon for $1000.
The Sony BDP-S1 will also be able to playback in addition to the blu-ray discs (BDs),DVDs and CDs.



The high end model of the pioneer BDP-HD1 blu-ray player will be launched later in September. Pre-shipment order is also available at amazon
at $1500.
